Delivery Update. Plus Yall Really Yelled At My Kid?

Howdy folks!
Just want it to be known, just because I haven’t updated it doesn’t mean the books haven’t been mailed. I have been sending out a steady trickle of books here and there, I have about 3-600 left.
It was great seeing everyone in Chicago who supported the Kickstarter. Thank you so much for your kind words. Now...there were people who approached my daughter — who was manning the table while I was signing — and I gotta ask:
Does it make you feel good to yell and get smart with my child? Did you wait until I was gone to start yelling?
Whoever these folks were, you’re soooo lucky I wasn’t at the table when you pulled this shit. You’re yelling at a kid because her disabled mother didn’t deliver your book fast enough. Wow...what an ADULT you are.
I never thought this Kickstarter would blow up as much as it did, otherwise I would’ve gotten a fulfillment center to do it. I’ve never been so irritated and aggravated in my life. The name calling, the threatening has gotta stop.
I 100% wish I never did a Kickstarter for this book. I know the good outweigh the bad, but some of y’all...
So those who are upset that I, a disabled woman who got books delivered during the winter when it snows all the time, am not moving fast enough here’s what we’re going to do. Contact me and I will arrange a refund, you won’t get all of your money back as you’ve received the pdf back in November, but you’ll certainly get monies back.
To those whose books have been returned I know my last update I said I’d go through them and contact you, and I haven’t. I’ve been busy sending out 300 books to those who haven’t gotten it first. Once I’ve shipped these next set of books I will work on returns. So kindly be patient and let me send these books out.
If backerkit says it’s been shipped, it was shipped. If you haven’t gotten it yet, my guess it was returned and sitting in a huge stack of books I have. I will get to the stack AFTER I shipped the remaining books.
If you ordered at a convention, your books ARE COMING! Everyone’s books are coming. I’m only 4 months behind schedule...MY BAD. I’m one person not a company.
If Image didn’t pick up Bingo Love, I wouldn’t have received the books until February waiting for it to come overseas.
Thanks to those who have been kind and not being belligerent via emails. Thanks to those who come up to me at cons and apologize on behalf of those who have been disgustingly rude to me. Thanks to everyone who has supported me, even those tarnishing my name.
HOWEVER...if you ever in your life yell at my kid and she tells me who you are, we WILL have words.

Howdy folks.
I’m very sorry to share with you some news from DJ Kirkland. Unfortunately due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, he will be unable to continue and complete the free bonus Bingo Love story entitled Secrets.
Writer Shawn Pryor, myself, DJ, and the Bingo Love team were extremely excited to share the story of James’ secret with you all, but alas DJ won’t be able to work his magic. Shawn and I hope it can still be brought to life in the future, as it is a beautiful, touching and caring story written by Shawn.

Hey everyone!!!
Majority of the backers have received their books - thank you SO MUCH for being patient! Out of 1950 backers, about 100 of you still haven’t filled out your surveys. As of yesterday I’ve had about 30 packages returned to me, including international.
Right now I’m on a plane, but when I get back to Jersey (and heal from jet lag) I’ll be contacting those whose packages have been returned.
If you haven’t received your books yet, they’re either on their way or haven’t been sent yet. Visit backerkit to check your status.
I’ve been on tour all month and haven’t shipped too many packages, but when I get back home next month, I’ll begin the process all over again.
Digital stories are still being created and you’ll be notified how to get them as soon as they’re done. Please remember, these are FREE stories being done by creators for FREE, so I can’t force them to do it.
I will be at Emerald City Comic Con this week, actually flying there now. My table is NN16. I hope to see you there! Here’s my schedule!

Happy New Year folks!
I haven’t updated in awhile, but that doesn’t mean the books haven’t been going out, because they have.
Books are arriving in Japan, Nigeria, the UK, Australia, Canada, & other countries outside the US! I appreciate the pictures as well as those leaving comments saying that they’ve received them. I really love the pictures, they bring tears to my eyes.
My garage is looking about halfway empty, so that’s a huge plus! I’ve sent out well over a thousand packages so far. Thank you everyone. If you check out Twitter/Instagram and do a search for #BingoLove you can see photos of backers, like yourself, happy to receive the book.
Now, I know I’m behind on getting the books out to everyone, but I’ve been fully transparent about me doing this alone and that I’m disabled. I’m almost a month behind the original due date & to be quite honest, that’s really not bad in the Kickstarter world.
BUT...
There are more than enough of backers who seem to NOT understand that I’m disabled & doing about 95% on my own. They don’t care, demanding refunds, Hell...someone created a fake twitter account to harass me and call me a scammer.
It’s fucking ridiculous and needs to stop!
Like, if you’re backer in the 1700’s out of 1950, and you’re demanding a refund because you haven’t gotten your book since it hasn’t reached you in a “reasonable time frame”, you need to check yourself.
I got out over 800 packages to people within a week and almost put myself in the hospital. But people don’t care about that, because they want their item NOW. It’s wild how people treat me. And FYI, I’m not giving full refunds because you received the PDF already, so if I decide to give refunds it’ll be at least half of what you pledged.
Do better. If you’re pledging to Kickstarter projects, maybe understand that we’re people and not companies like Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, etc. If you can’t, then Kickstarter isn’t for you.
Oh, one more thing, there’s about a few hundred people who haven’t filled out their surveys, so I can’t get your books out to you if I don’t have your address.
And now for an update on the mini stories:
The bonus stories are in the sketching process and should be to everyone before the end of April. Remember these are stories that have been donated FOR FREE by creators that I’m giving to you FOR FREE, so be patient and don’t demand these stories. (Yes, folks have been rude demanding the free items as well. It’s as if no one has manners.)
ANYWAYS...here’s some good news for y’all.
Bingo Love has sold out and is getting a second printing!!!! There was such a huge demand for Bingo Love, all the books sold out & Image did a rush print. These books will be available on 3/14 - one month after the release.
All of this is because of y’all supporting this Kickstarter! I’m indebted to all of you.

She has a long road of recovery ahead of her, so I’ll try my best to get as much signings done as possible, I really want to see and thank you in person.

Many of you have been tagging me in your Christmas pictures on Twitter (@mizteefranklin), I LOVE IT!!!!
Some of you are STILL demanding me to give you your books & calling me names, despite my last update and repeated tweets about it. Y’all are just rude AF. I have refunded over $300 and I’ll still continue to refund it, you won’t be threatening & berating me.
Many of y’all are sending me email after email after email asking about your PDF, instead of backerkit.
Here are instructions DIRECTLY from them:

Some of y’all have sent messages saying you either got the wrong variant cover, wrong name is attached to the address, duplicates & other minor mistakes.
If you got the wrong cover, donate the book to a school or library.
If you got a duplicate, donate the book to a school or library.
If the wrong name is attached & the cover is right - keep it.
Mistakes happen. I’m doing 95% by myself and all I can say is sorry. Either way, if the cover is wrong email me - not on Kickstarter - your name & address & when I get back to shipping, your book will go out.
